“Towards an Active World” ECIS Conference
EISBarcelona hosts the international conference ‘Towards an Active World’
The conference will take place from the 15th – 18th April and it will count on the participation of 120 P.E. teachers from 36 different countries
European International School of Barcelona will be hosting the international conference ‘Towards an Active World’, organized by the Educational Collaborative for International Schools (ECIS).
It is proven that innovative and inspirational PE teachers can promote a change in attitude which in turn can lead to an improvement in the learning process, healthy habits, and overall well-being of our students. The primary goal of this conference, aimed at P.E. teachers, is to foster healthier lifestyles by means of practising sport in schools. The speakers will be sharing new ideas and methodologies to facilitate and inspire students and teachers to embark on a more active lifestyle.
We will have ten experts as key speakers. We would like to highlight the presence of Mike Antoniades, Founder and Performance Director of The Movement and Running School, Joy Marchese, teacher and Education Consultant; Mike Kuczala, coauthor of the book “Teaching and learning through movement” and Paul Zientarski, creator of the programme Learning Readiness Physical Education (LRPE) in Naperville Central High School.
