Model United Nations
Every year our students participate in a series of different international sports, politics and mathematics programmes. One of the main politics programmes is the MUN (Model United Nations).
The “Model United Nations” is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy and the United Nations agenda.
Our students role-play as diplomats representing countries (Argentina, India, Iran, Afganistan…) or NGOs in a simulated session of a committee of the UN such as the Securty Council or the General Assembly. Our students then have to investigate, debate, deliberate, consult and develop soultions to world problems such as hunger, environmental sustainability, world peace, etc.
Below you will find a short video, made by one of our students, that sums up the main characteristic of the MUN Conferences.
