EIS Student Exchange Programme and Cultural Trips

This week, EIS students are visiting Cardiff, Lorient, Bordeaux, York, Amsterdam, Nantes, Lyon, Geneva, Cambridge, London and the Alguer.

Student exchange and cultural trips offer broad-based benefits and outcomes for students keen to embark on this international adventure.

Academically, language acquisition is achieved through practical immersion, students develop analytical and problem-solving skills while international learning and knowledge propels students towards acceptance and understanding of an array of different cultural and community perspectives. For those students who will be sitting the IGCSE exam, they’ll be contributing towards the Global Citizenship learning.

Personal development skills are also enhanced leading to greater maturity, self-confidence and self-esteem. After their exchange, students have a tremendous sense of accomplishment and are encouraged to develop independent opinions, make informed decisions and strive to attain fresh goals. Increased pressure to communicate and relate to others develops an awareness of group dynamics and personal sensitivity towards others.

We hope you learn lots and trust that you will be excellent ambassadors to our school and country!
