Christmas Charity Concert in Sacre Coeur Pressbaum, Vienna

EIS students were invited to participate in the Sacre Coeur Pressbaum annual Christmas Concert which was a lovely way to prepare for the festive season, making new friends and contributing to a hugely successful Christmas, Charity Concert.

The twenty six EIS music students had a very enriching experience. Not only did they spend the week in a boarding school with Austrian students, but they also enjoyed a week of classes, rehearsals and cultural visits around the centre of Vienna and even shared seasonal traditions with new friends and introduced them to the sweet delights of “turron, polvorones” and marzipan.

As a culmination to the week in Vienna, our students joined the choir and orchestra of over 200 students to perform in two concerts to a packed school church and to further add to the fun, 8 of our families attended!

A truly special experience from which we have learned a lot, both musically and about ourselves.
